Section 153(a) in Criminal Court Rules of the High Court of Judicature at Patna

(a)On the judgment, or order, in any case becoming final, notice shall be given to the person by whom any document, admitted and used in evidence; was brought into Court, or to his pleader, requiring him to take it into his keeping, within six months from the date of the notice, failing which the document will be destroyed, when the record to which it relates is destroyed. The notice must distinctly warn the owner that the document will be kept at his own risk, and that the Court declines all responsibility for its safe custody.
