1. Present application has been filed on behalf of the applicants seeking a direction to hold elections for Bar Associations in Delhi on a date in the second week of November, 2024.

2. Issue notice to the non-applicants through counsel, returnable on 8th November, 2024.

3. Present application has been filed on behalf of the applicant/Sales Tax Bar Association, seeking extension of time for filing declaration, payment of subscription and filing of affidavit in lieu of twelve (12) appearances before the Courts.

4. Learned counsel for the applicant states that out of its seventeen hundred (1700) members, nine hundred (900) have filed their declaration and paid subscription in compliance of judgment dated 19th March, 2024. He states that the remaining members could not file their declaration by 31st July, 2024 due to constraint of time as the last dates for filing Income Tax Returns and compilation of Audit Report were 31st July, 2024 and 30th November, 2024 respectively.
