(4)Before the examination of a witness, he shall be administered an oath or affirmation in the following form or in such other form to the same purport as the Court ascertains to be in accordance with his religion or otherwise binding on his conscience.Form Of OathI, ............................. swear by Almighty God that whatever I shall state, shall, be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.Form Of AffirmationI, ................................. do solemnly, truly and sincerely declare and affirm that whatever I shall state, shall be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
