Section 28(2)(p) in Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University Act, 2016

(p)to allow the number of admissions in a particular course and decide the mode of admission. It will direct the Admission Committee to hold competitive examinations wherever required as per law and regulations of the statutory bodies for determining the merit of the students for the admission in a particular course,
