Section 24 in Assam Education Department Rules and Orders
24. A "professional school" means a school where instruction is imparted only to enable its pupils to take u any particular profession or professions for their livelihood. The schools where the art of type-writing, Shorthand and Soap making, etc., are taught are called professional schools.
