Section 223 in The Calcutta Municipal Corporation Act, 1980
223. Recovery under Ben. Act 3 of 1913. -
After a defaulter has been proceeded against unsuccessfully under the foregoing provisions of this Chapter or with partial success, any sum due or the balance of any sum due may be recovered by the Municipal Commissioner by certificate under the Bengal Public Demands Recovery Act, 1913, together with interest and cost of recovery.
