Section 18 in Kerala Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1976
18. Composition of offences.
- The Regional Transport Officer may accept from any person who has committed, or is reasonably suspected of having committed, an offence under this Act or any rule made thereunder, by way of composition of such offence, a sum of money not exceeding two hundred and fifty rupees, which shall be in addition to the tax or other dues, if any, payable by that person.
