Section 408(1) in Goa Succession, Special Notaries and Inventory Proceeding Act, 2012
(1)Where any debt due to the inheritance listed by the head of the family is denied by the alleged debtor, the court shall, upon hearing the head of the family and the debtor, decide if the debt shall be retained in the list or shall be removed from the list.
