Section 8(1) in The Bombay Weights and Measures Act, 1932
(1)The secondary standards shall be kept-(i)in the City of Bombay by such officer and at such place as Government may direct;(ii)elsewhere by the Collectors in the Government treasuries at the headquarter towns of their respective districts and at such other town or place within their respective districts as Government may direct.
