Section 12A in Tamil Nadu Legislator's Pension Rules, 1977
12A. Relinquishment and cancellation of pension.
- Any pensioner may, at any time, relinquish the whole or any portion of the pension payable to him under the Act and the relinquishment so made may be cancelled by him. Every relinquishment or cancellation thereof shall be made in writing and shall take effect from the first day of the month subsequent to the month in which it is made.
