Section 70(a) in Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers' (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2008
(a)a lifting gear is initially tested for the manufacturer by a competent person, in a manner specified in Schedule 1 annexed to these rules before taking into use or after undergoing any substantive alterations which renders its any part liable to affect its safety and such gear alters such test shall subsequently be retested for the use of its owner at least once in every five years;
