Section 14(2)(a) in The Tamil Nadu Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1957

(a)A travelling cinema in any place shall not be allowed with in a distance of [1.609] [Substituted by G.O. Ms. No. 233, Home (Cinema-1), dated the 19th March 2002.] km of the nearest permanent cinema located in the same local area or in the adjacent local area.
