ORDER
1. In the report dated 02.01.2025 of the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board, it is stated that the subject land was leased to the Kovilpatti Pasumpon Thevar Educational Charitable Trust. Accordingly, the Kovilpatti Pasumpon Thevar Educational Charitable Trust is Suo Motu impleaded as 7th Respondent in this proceeding.
2. Let notice be issued to the newly added respondent through the Tribunal. The Registry is directed to carry out the amendment in the cause title.
3. The Director of Department Geology and Mining is directed to file its report as to the action taken by them for the illegal mining by the Kovilpatti Pasumpon Thevar Educational Charitable Trust.
4. Though the learned counsel Mr. G. Chellappa has filed a vakalat on behalf of the 6th Respondent/Executive Officer- Arulmigu Poovanatha Swamy Thirukoil, neither a report has been submitted nor has he represented before the Court today. Page 2 of 3
5. Similarly, the 5th Respondent/Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department which is also served with a notice has not represented through the counsel.
6. Post the matter on 25.08.2025.
