Section 2(2) in The Bengal Criminal Law Amendment Act, 1925
(2)[ In this Act "the appropriate Government" means the Central Government in relation to any of the matters enumerated in List I in the Seventh Schedule to] [Sub-Section (2) inserted by the Government of India (Adaptation of Indian Laws) Order, 1937.][the Constitution] [Words substituted by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] and the [State] [Word substituted by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] Government in relation to other matters.
