Section 693(1) in The Orissa Municipal Corporation Act, 2003
(1)On the commencement of this Act any smaller urban area declared or deemed to be larger urban area under Section 3 of this Act, the provisions of the Orissa Municipal Act, 1950 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) shall cease to apply to such larger urban area.
