Section 140(2) in Assam Co-Operative Societies Act, 2007
(2)The Registrar shall ensure conducting of elections to a C0-operative Credit Structure Society within two months from the date of supersession:Provided that in the circumstances beyond control of the Registrar, the State Government may allow holding of such elections within a period not exceeding six months from the date of such supersession.
