Section 24 in Assam State Acquisition of Zamindaries Act, 1951
24. Protection in action taken under this Act.
- No suit, prosecution or other proceedings shall lie-(a)Against any officer of the State for anything in good faith done or purporting to be done under this Act or any rules made thereunder :(b)Against the State for any damages caused or likely to be caused or any injury suffered or likely to be suffered by anything in good faith done or purporting to be done under this Act or the rules made thereunder.
