506. General power of the municipality to pay compensation.
- In any case not otherwise expressly provided for in this Act or the rules or the regulations made thereunder, the Municipal Commissioner or the Executive Officer may, with the prior approval of the Standing Committee, pay compensation to any person who sustains damage by reason of the exercise of any of the powers vested by this Act or the rules or the regulations made thereunder on the Municipal Commissioner or the Executive Officer or on any other officer or other employee of the municipality.
