Section 326(c) in West Bengal Municipal Corporation Act, 2006
(c)when a child is born in a hospital or nursing home or maternity home, none but the officer-in-charge thereof shall be bound to forward forthwith to the officer empowerd under this section a report of such birth within such time and in such form as may, from time to time, be specified by the State Government.
