The Home Guards shall Organised in sections consisting of a Section Commander and nine guards each. Two or more sections but not more than four may be united as a platoon under the command of a platoon commander, and two or more platoons but not more than four as a company under a company under company Commander of an Area Commandant.The guards may be known as Desh-Rakshi-Sena Section Commander as Nayak, Platoon Commander as Jatthedars, Company Commanders as Subedars and Area Commandants as Jila -Adhinayak.The Commandant General may be known as Dalpati or S arbadhinay ak.
