(1)A person on appointment to the cadre shall be on probation for 2 years in case of direct recruits and one year in the case of promotees.(2)The period of probation in each case shall count from the date of joining.(3)Government may in any special case extend the period of probation by such further period as they may deem fit.Confirmation
