(1)There shall be established a University under this Act by the name of the Kota Open University.(2)The University shall be a body corporate having a perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and be sued by its corporate name.(3)The headquarters of the University shall be at Kota in the State of Rajasthan and it may establish or maintain a Regional Centre or study centre at any place.
