Section 24(4) in Multi-State Co-Operative Societies (Privileges, Properties and Funds, Accounts, Audit, Winding Up and Execution of Decrees, Orders and Decisions) Rules, 1985

(4)Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any rule or bye-law governing the multi-State co-operative society, where the Central Registrar or the authorised officer in this behalf is satisfied that the President or Chairman of the society has failed to convene the special meeting as required under sub-rule (1), the Central Registrar or the authorised officer, as the case may be, shall convene a meeting of the general body of the multi- State cooperative society by giving 14 days notice to all the members and creditors of the multi-State co-operative society.
