(3)The date of retirement in the case of persons who had taken part in the freedom struggle and courted imprisonment and who have been, appointed to the posts of social workers up to the end of December 1965, shall be the date on which they attain the age of 60 years.Note. - A Government servant under suspension, on a charge of misconduct, shall not be required or permitted to retire but shall be retained in service until the enquiry into the charge is concluded and final order is passed by a competent authority.
