Section 1 in The Jammu and Kashmir Fire Force Act, 1967
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Fire Force Act, 1967.(2)It extends to the whole State.(3)[ It shall come into force in any area on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Government Gazette, appoint, and different dates may be appointed for different areas and for different provisions of this Act.] [Enforced in the whole of the Slate except the District of Ladakh by SRO - 506 dated 28th December, 1968.]
