Section 1 in The Rajiv Gandhi University Act, 2006

1. Short title and commencement.

(1)This Act may be called the Rajiv Gandhi University Act, 2006.
(2)It shall come into force on such [date] [1st April, 2007, vide notification No. S.O. 512(E), dated 1st April, 2007] as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
