17. Power to amend Schedules.
(1)The Government may, by order amend the Schedules.(2)A draft of any order proposed to be made under sub-section (1) shall be laid on the table of the Legislative Assembly of the State and the order shall not be made, unless the Assembly approves the draft either without any modification or addition or with any modification or addition and upon approval, the order may be in the form in which it has been so approved and such order, on being so made, shall be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.(3)When a Schedule is so amended, any reference to that Schedule in this Act shall be construed as a reference to such Schedule as so amended.
