sdas rejected C.R.M. 9145 of 2019 In Re:- An application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure filed on 20.09.2019 in connection with Special Task Force Police Station Case No. 09 of 2019 dated 09.03.2019 under Sections 120B/489B/489C of the Indian Penal Code.

And In Re : Habibur Rahman @ Golam Ahammed Mortaja ..... petitioner Mr. Imdadul Hoque ... for the petitioner Mr. Swapan Banerjee, Mr. Suman De ... for the State Having considered the materials in the case diary disclosing prima facie involvement of the petitioner in dealing in fake Indian currency notes (FICNs), we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected. Trial court is directed to take necessary steps to consider the issue of framing of charge at the earliest and in the event such charge is framed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible preferably within one year from the date of framing of charge to take to its logical 2 conclusion without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
