Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to number and dispose the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 7.5.2013 and received by him on 8.5.2013 challenging the order passed by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka.195/2013/A4 dated 10.4.2013 and dispose of the same on merits within a stipulated time.

                                                  O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to number and dispose the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 7.5.2013 and consequently challenging the order passed by the second respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka.195/2013/A4 dated 10.4.2013.

2.Heard Mr.S.Sounthar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Manikandan, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 and 2 and perused the material documents available on record.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that, aggrieved by the order passed by the second respondent in proceedings Na.Ka.195/2013/A4, dated 10.4.2013, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the first respondent on 07.05.2013, but, so far, it is not yet disposed of.

4. In the light of the above grievance expressed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal of the petitioner dated 7.5.2013 on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
