Section 18(1) in The Tamil Nadu Prevention Of Begging Act, 1945
(1)The State Government may, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed, direct any person detained in a work-house or special home to be transferred therefrom to another work-house or special home, as the case may be;Provided that the total period of detention of such person shall not be increased by such transfer.
