Section 2(i) in National Savings Certificates (VIII Issue) Rules, 1989
(i)[ "Aadhaar number" means an identification number as defined in clause (a) of Section 2 of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (18 of 2016); [Substituted by Notification No. G.S.R. 1244(E), dated 29.9.2017 (w.e.f. 8.5.1989).]
