1. Prayer in the instant petition is for initiation of proceedings against the respondent(s) for intentional and willful defiance of order, Annexure P-1 dated 08.01.2021 in CWP-22271-2020.

2. A perusal of order Annexure P-1 reveals that CWP-22271- 2020 was disposed of vide order dated 08.01.2021 by directing the respondents to take a specific, unbiased and conscious decision qua equivalence of the degree in 'Electronics and Communication Engineering' and the degree in 'Electronics Communication Systems Engineering' keeping in view the regulations of the AICTE and the course contents as prescribed by the AICTE and the University and if on such conscious decision the degree of the petitioner was adjudged to be equivalent to the degree of 'Electronics and Communication Engineering' as required by the recruiting respondents, then the petitioner was ordered to be deputed for training for the course in question.

3. Learned counsel contends that pursuant to order Annexure P- 1, needful has been done and the degree of the petitioner has been adjudged as equivalent to the degree of 'Electronics and Communication Engineering', consequently, the petitioner has been deputed for training to the course in question and in the circumstances, the petitioner does not wish to pursue the instant petition.

4. In view of the position noted above as well as statement of learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of as not calling for any action against the respondent under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.

5. Rule discharged.
