Section 7(1) in The West Bengal Acquisition And Settlement Of Homestead Land Act, 1969.
(1)After demarcation of the land under section 6 the Collector shall, by publishing in the Official Gazette and in such other manner as may be prescribed a notice in this behalf, acquire the land so demarcated with effect from such date as may be specified in the notice.
