Background
1. The Appellant filed an RTI application dt.20.6.08 with the CPIO, BSNL, Meerut. He requested for information regarding faulty telephone connections. The CPIO, BSNL, Meerut transferred the RTI application to CPIO, BSNL, Agra. On not receiving any reply from CPIO, The Appellant filed an appeal dt.29.9.08 with the Appellate Authority. On not receiving any reply, the Appellant filed a second appeal dt.12.11.08 before the CIC.
2. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, scheduled the hearing on January 30, 2009.
3. Mr. D.P. Upadhyaya, APIO and AGM(Admn.) & Legal represented the Public Authority.
4. The Appellant's representative, Mr. Pramod Pandey, arrived late at the hearing, after the Respondent left.
Decision
5. The Commission reviewed the information in the note dated 30.1.09 handed over to the Commission during the hearing, in respect of the 8 points in the RTI application, and noted that all available information has been compiled in the note. The Commission handed over a copy of this information provided by the Respondent, to the Appellant who arrived late at the hearing while directing the Appellant to write to the Respondent for any missing information within 5 days of receiving this Order and the Respondents to reply to the Appellant within 10 days of receiving this information from the Appellant.
6. The appeal is disposed off.
