(2)Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), a person who is a nominated Member of Market Committee by virtue of being a representative of co- operative marketing society, agriculture/ horticulture department and Gram Panchayat or Zilla Panchayat, as the case may be, shall cease to be such member on his ceasing to be a Member of the managing committee of the society or Gram Panchayat or Zilla Panchayat concerned by efflux of his term of office or otherwise, or re-nomination by the department, as the case may be.
