6. Establishment of the university.
(1)The State Government, if it is satisfied, after considering the report submitted under sub-section (2) of section 5 that the sponsoring body has complied with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 5 may, by notification in the Official Gazette, establish a University (Act No. 8 of 1955) apply to such location, jurisdiction and with such conditions as may be specified in such notification and insert necessary entries in the Schedule:Provided that, no such notification shall be issued except on a resolution passed by the House of the State Legislature.(2)The University shall be deemed to have come into existence from the date of the notification in the Official Gazette under.
