Section 17 in Gujarat State Higher Education Council Act, 2016
17. Temporary association of persons with Council.
- The Council may associate with itself in such manner and for such purpose, any person whose assistance or advice it may desire in carrying out its functions. A person associated with the Council for such purpose shall have a right to take part in the discussions relevant to that purpose but shall not have a right to vote at a meeting of the Council and shall not be a member for any purpose. The Council may associate with it any member of Medical, Engineering, or Agricultural Universities with a view to developing co-ordination amongst the Universities.
