Section 2(k) in The Gujarat Scheduled Castes Development Corporation Act, 1985

(k)"society" means a society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (XXI of 1860), or a co-operative society registered under the Gujarat Co-operative Societies Act, 1961 (IX of 1932).
