20. Voting paper to be retained. [(Section 37 and Section 65(2)(b)].
- Upon the completion of the counting and after the result has been declared, the Returning Officer shall seal the voting papers and all other documents relating to the election and shall retain the same for a period of six months and shall not destroy or cause to be destroyed these records, even after the expiry of the said six months without the previous concurrence of the State Government.
