Section 106(1) in The Tamil Nadu Town Panchayats, Third Grade Municipalities, Municipalities and Corporations (Elections) Rules, 2006
(1)Every member present at the meeting wishing to vote shall be supplied with a ballot paper in Form 29. Every ballot paper shall be of identical colour and size on which the names of all the candidates and tire number of the ward of the Town Panchayat or Third Grade Municipality or Municipality or Corporation from which they are elected shall be legibly written or typewritten in Tamil in the order of Tamil alphabet.
