20. Scale of pay.

(1)The scales of pay admissible to persons appointed to the various categories of posts in the service shall be such as may be determined by the Government, from time to time.

(2)The scales of pay at the time of the commencement of these rules are given as follows :

(1)	Technical Assistant (Geology, Geophysics, Mechanical,Electrical, Chemistry, Electronics and Civil)	Rs. 1,400-40-1,800-E.B.-50-2,300.
(2)	Junior Engineer	Rs. 1,400-40-1,800-E.B.-50-2,300.
(3)	Surveyor	Rs. 1,400-40-1,800-E.B.-50-2,300.
