Section 15 in The Railway Protection Force Rules, 1987

15. Organisational set up in the division.

15.1The Force on each zonal railway shall be further distributed over divisionsrailway establishments.
15.2Each division or railway establishment shall be headed BY A divisional Security Commissioner, who shall be assisted by such number of other superior officers andenrolled members of the Force as may be appointed from time to time.
15.3For operational purposes, a division may be divided in to sub-divisions eachunder the charge of a superior officer.
15.4A division or sub-division shall consist of one or more static posts and mobilecompanies organized in the manner specified in sub-rules (2) and (3) or rule 17.
15.5Each Post or a company shall be under the charge of an officer not below therank of an Inspector who may be assisted by such number of enrolled members of the Force as may be determined from time to time by the [Principal Chief Security Commissioner] [Substituted 'Chief Security Commissioner' by Notification No. G.S.R. 140(E), dated 2.2.2018 (w.e.f. 3.12.1987)].
15.6A static post or a mobile company may have one or more out-posts ordetachments attached to it, each headed by an officer not below the rank of sub-Inspector and comprising of such number of other enrolled members of the Force asmay be determined by the [Principal Chief Security Commissioner] [Substituted 'Chief Security Commissioner' by Notification No. G.S.R. 140(E), dated 2.2.2018 (w.e.f. 3.12.1987)].
15.7A fire Station shall be headed by an officer not below the rank of a sub-Inspector and consists of such number of other enrolled members of the Force as may be appointed from time to time for fire fighting and fire prevention.
