Section 77(vii) in The Haryana New Mandi Townships Building Rules, 1967
(vii)Lighting and ventilation of internal water closet - Where the water-closet is in connection with a domestic building and is entered directly from the external air, it shall be provided with a sufficient opening for lighting and ventilation as near the top as practicable and communicating directly with the external air.
