Section 2(1)(j) in Uttar Pradesh Excise (Movement of Liquor and Power Alcohol) Rules, 2019

(j)"Movement" means import (form outside the State and other countries), export (outside the State and other countries), transport and transit of alcohol in Uttar Pradesh (within the State of Uttar Pradesh and passing through Uttar Pradesh to other States or international border of country) by means of road, rail, waterways, airways or any other mode of conveyance;
