ORDER

1. The petitioner in Writ Petition No. 47/ 1998, Shri Navin M. Raheja, who is present in person has submitted a note containing suggestions for protection of tigers. This note has been prepared as a result of discussions held at the meeting of the Steering Committee convened for the purpose.

IGF (WL), Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India together with a Report of the Committee which was constituted to look into the issue arising out of death of tigers at Nandankanan Zoo, Bhubaneshwar. Raheja and also the report and on the next date state as to what steps are required to be taken by the State Governments as also by the Central Government in this behalf.
