Section 27A(1) in The Jai Narain Vyas University Jodhpur Act, 1962
(1)An affiliated college or a recognised institution or a University department may be conferred the autonomous status by the University in the matter of admission of students, prescribing the courses of studies, imparting instructions and training, holding of examinations and the power to make necessary rules for the purpose.
