Section 7(1) in Santhal Parganas Tenancy (Supplementary Provisions) Act, 1949
(1)A village headman shall on appointment be granted a patta, and may be required to execute a kabuliyat in the prescribed form. He shall in the discharge of the duties of his office be governed by such rules as may be made by the [State] [Substituted by para 4 (1) of the ALO for 'Provincial'] Government.
