Section 181(2) in The Bombay Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
(2)The Commissioner may, in the course of an inspection or examination under subsection (1), obtain and take away a sample of any trade effluent which is passing from the premises inspected or examined into a municipal drain. The analysis of such sample shall be made in the manner prescribed by the rules.
