Information sought:
The appellant has sought following information regarding promotion of Data Processing Assistant Gr. A to Data Processing Assistant Gr. B in year 2001
1. How many vacancies (Promotion & Direct) exists for Data Processing Assistant Gr. B in year 2001 onwards.
2. Provide copy of Roster prepared for promotion including SC/ST used in the promotion for Data Processing Assistant Gr. B in year 2001.
3. Provide copy of order and the file noting executed (DPC proceeding) for approval for promotion of Data Processing Assistant Gr. B in year 2001.
Grounds for the Second Appeal:
The CPIO has not provided the desired information.
Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing:
The following were present Appellant: Mr. John Maringmei, Respondent: Ms. K Vidya CPIO The appellant stated that he wants the relevant documents/file notings based on which the seniority list dated 01/06/2000 was issued. The CPIO stated that the appellant has been allowed to inspect all the available records in the office and has also recorded his satisfaction. The Page 1 of 2 appellant pointed out that he was shown records from June 2002 onwards whereas the seniority list was issued on 01/06/2000.
Decision notice:
The CPIO is directed to go through the records carefully and provide copy of documents/file notings based on which the seniority list dated 01/06/2000 was issued, within 30 days from the date of receipt of this order. If, however, even after a thorough search the relevant records cannot be traced, an appropriate affidavit should be filed before the Commission and copy endorsed to the appellant.
The appeal is disposed of accordingly.
