Section 11 in Bihar Shops & Establishments Act, 1953
11. Spreading of periods of work.
- The periods of work and intervals of rest of an employee in an establishment shall not be together spread over more than -(i)in the case of child, eight hours in any day;(ii)in the case of a young person, ten hours in any day;(iii)[ in the case of any other employee, twelve hours in any day.] [Inserted by Act 2 of 1975.]
